SIGN-ON BONUS PROGRAM POLICY

This Policy applies to all new Salon Professionals.


Policy Statement 


Hair Cuttery Family of Brands at times promotes sign-on bonuses as an incentive to encourage licensed Stylists to apply to the Company and join our team!

If you are hired by the Company and the candidate remains continuously employed with the company for the requisite number of days, and all other conditions set forth below are satisfied, the Associate will be eligible to receive the appropriate sign-on bonus. 

General Eligibility Requirements

  • Associates must be hired into a requisition that offers a sign-on bonus incentive.
  • Associates must be in active status and in good standing at the time bonuses are awarded. 
  • The Associate will receive the sign-on bonus, less applicable taxes. Payment will be made based on the terms established by the sing-on bonus in place at the time. 
  • Associates on approved leave will receive the bonus payments on the next regularly scheduled payroll upon the Associate’s return. 
  • Bonuses are offered for a limited time only and are only applicable to new hire stylist positions averaging 30 or more hours per week. Associates hired on a seasonal basis are not eligible for the sign-on bonus.  
  • Employees previously employed by Hair Cuttery Family of Brands are not eligible.
  • For bonuses where goals and targets are required, bonuses are paid if goals/targets are met or exceeded. 
  • Unless approvals are obtained in advance from the VP of Operations and the VP of HR, bonuses are paid in the amounts and intervals established for the specific bonus.
  • Any disputes or interpretations of this Bonus program will be determined by Hair Cuttery Family of Brands.


Sign-on Bonus: offered through September 30, 2021

In addition to the above requirements, the following applies to sign-on bonuses offered through September 30, 2021:

  • The new hire start day must be by September 30,2021.
  • Hair Cuttery Hires
    • $1,000: must perform at or above $850 per week to be eligible. Must maintain average for $850 or above 22 of 25 weeks within the first 6-months of employment.  Payout is 6 months from the start date.
  • Hair Cuttery or Bubbles Hires
    • $1,500: must perform at or above $1,300 per week to be eligible. Must maintain average for $1,300 or above 22 of 25 weeks within the first 6-months of employment. Payout is 6 months from the start date.

Sign-on Bonus offered from October 1 to 31, 2021


In addition to the above requirements, the following applies to sign-on bonuses offered between October 1 thru 31, 2021:

  • The sign-on bonus amount of $1,000 or $1,500 is based on experience level.
    • $1,500: hires with 2+ years with a license
    • $1,000: hires with 2 or less years with a license 
  • The new hire start day must be between October 1 and October 31, 2021. 
  • Employees will receive 25% of the bonus on the next regularly scheduled pay date after the start of employment. The remaining amount of the bonus will be paid in weekly installments starting with the check paid after 30 days, with the full bonus payout being completed within the next 90 days. 
  • Associates must have been hired as full-time 30 hours or more and be working 30 or more hours per week to receive the bonus. 
  • Example of payment:
    • 1,000 Bonus
      • 25% in first check = $250
      • After 30 days, each week eligible for $57.69 weekly for next 90 days (13 weeks) when working 30+ hours.
